$22

Presenting their new show, Wikiphobia, which takes aim at worldwide issues from the dominance of Google to the environment to the financial industry, Chicago City Limits returns to The Barns for back-to-back evenings of classic improvisational comedy. A select group of members from the National Touring Company will take the stage for an evening of pure, uninhibited improvisation, drawing ideas and inspiration from Wolf Trap audience members. Thematically, cast members will focus their comedic scenes, one-liners, and improvised music around the global issues that permeate today’s society. Apart from the National Touring Company, Chicago City Limits has been a beloved fixture in New York as the city’s longest running comedy show. The troupe was recently honored as the Best Comedy/Improv Group for 2008 by the Manhattan Associations of Cabarets and Clubs.

Having hosted guest stars like Paul Reiser, Robin Williams, Brett Butler, and Bill Irwin, Chicago City Limits has made dozens of TV appearances on HBO, CNN, and CNBC, as well as starring in their own comedy series entitled Reel News on the USA network. The national touring production, An Evening with Chicago City Limits, has performed at an array of nationally recognized venues from the Lincoln Center to the 1995 Super Bowl along with stops at colleges and theaters across Northern America and Europe.
